Avery Hill Activity Centre

Parents/carers must bring their child/ren to and from the activity centre at Avery Hill.

We will be staying in indoor accommodation.

An ideal first away activity opportunity, we are only 15 minutes from Coldharbour!

This activity is subsidised by our group funds and is less than half the price that we would normally charge for a hut based weekend.

As well as a movie night and craft activities during the evenings, during the day we will be practicing our Scouting skills such as fire lighting, tracking, tent pitching and backwoods cooking (Program may change due to weather).

Adults Attending : Chief (Adrian), Skip (Bernie), Akala (Lenox) and Sheer khan (Mike). Mike will not be staying overnight.

This activity will start and finish at the Avery Hill Activity Centre, 103 Avery Hill Rd, London, SE9 2HE (see the map at the bottom of this page).

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to provide transport and ask that parents/carers bring their child/ren to and from the activity centre. Please drop off your child/ren on or soon after 18:30 on Friday and collect at or soon after 13:00 hours on Sunday.

During our activity we will make every effort to keep our Facebook group updated with photos and news.

While this is primarily a Scout activity, older Cubs are welcome to join us. Places are limited by the number of beds available and in accordance with out Terms & Conditions, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

To secure a place or places on this activity

Request an Activity Permission Form (One for each child) and we will confirm that places are available and send you a permission form.

You can make any payment required by cash or credit/debit card or by bank transfer.

We must have the completed form and the full payment before the booking is fully secured.
